Tiny bit of chipping at the spine head, else fine.

This short-lived (1924-1932) literary revue devoted itself exclusively to lyric poetry, publishing the works of both established and unknown poets and critics. This Autumn 1928 issue includes the first French translation of Lorca's "Martirio de Santa Olalla," which appeared (in the original Spanish) in July of 1928 in ROMANCERO GITANO, Lorca's third published book of poetry, and the one that would make him famous. Signed Garcia Lorca items are exceedingly rare; only a handful have come to auction in the last 40 years. Provenance upon request.
